When the governor's daughter dies unexpectedly, Oleg, a professional detective, is summoned to investigate the case. But after witnessing more murder cases, he concludes they might all be related.
Episode 1
A mysterious event takes place in the city of Zaozersk. At the training ground, where role-players were preparing to act out the plots of “Kalevala,” the corpse of a young girl was discovered, tied to a swing. The crime alarmed the city: the maniac killed Alisa Krotova, the daughter of the governor himself. Oleg Nesterov arrives from Moscow to help local investigators. He had not been to his hometown for ten years, and during his absence he managed to become a real luminary of criminology: he developed a unique method for recognizing information from the timbre of a person’s voice. But the dead girl won’t tell him anything.
Episode 2
Investigator Alekseev takes into custody a suspect in Alice's murder. This is Kirill, presenter of a local radio station. There are witnesses, police and prosecutors against him. Only Nesterov’s forensic ideas are in favor of Kirill. The locals also have the administrative resource of the governor. But he is also powerless before the mysterious Game, the adherents of which are dying in the city one after another. And already on the stones around Wolf Bay, someone’s invisible hand is drawing bloody signs. The governor, who has lost his head after the death of his daughter, plays an ominous game of solitaire in his residence. He gets a card with a skull.

Tanya is on the list of suspects - after all, it was her car that Krotova got into on the evening of the murder. The only catch is that the car was in the service station at the specified time.
